Scenes from a beach – Madagascar
Somewhere near Lokaro or Itapera, Madagascar 2008
Fishermen and their traditional aboriginal Malagasy handmade dugouts. Due to the lack of large trees these days, these have since probably been replaced by plastic boats…
„Mahimba„ means fast and these boats are used for fishing and crabbing.
We ate fresh oysters with lime a fisherman offered us on the rocks (probably would not risk that anymore).
